WHAT IS DIRECT PRIMARY CARE?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a simpler, more personal approach to healthcare. Instead of billing insurance for routine primary care visits, patients pay a straightforward monthly membership fee directly to the practice. This allows for better access, longer appointments, and a stronger relationship between patients and their physician.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Patients become members of the practice through a monthly membership. That membership includes many of the primary care services patients commonly need, such as:
Annual wellness visits
Sick visits
Chronic disease management
Preventive care
Telemedicine visits
Direct communication with your physician
Same-day or next-day appointments when available
Because the practice does not bill insurance for routine care, there are:
No copays
No surprise bills for office visits
Less paperwork and insurance-related frustration
Direct Primary Care is not health insurance, but many patients choose to pair DPC with a high-deductible health plan or health sharing plan for unexpected emergencies or hospital care.
The result is a healthcare experience centered around relationships, accessibility, transparency, and personalized care.
